This is where our high-tech 4.0 mill in Werther, Germany (Dusseldorf), and their knowledgeable crew, often get involved. While all our mills deliver exceptional quality, Werther specializes in meeting extreme challenges. These includes producing thick-walled tubing (1-70 mm OD), withstanding extreme pressures (up to160,000 psi), meeting tight tolerances, maintaining low defects (50 µm max), supplying extra-long coils (> 1,000-meter coils; zero welds), and offering mobile tube solutions.
Cold worked to perfection
Production at Werther is handled in a sophisticated cold-working process perfected over many years. The mill has a Green Factory setup (with ISO 50001 energy management certification as one important part), NORSOK approval, and DIN EN 9100 certification (ask for certificates and approvals). All these step changes are designed to help you meet the very toughest industry demands.
High-pressure tubing
When pressures rise to 160,000 psi (12,000 bar), your tubing must be exceptionally strong and have smooth inner surface properties. Not only can we match these pressure levels, but we also provide tubing with smooth surface featuring minimal or no defects (50 μm max or lower), while ensuring excellent performance in corrosive environments.
